Open role
Product Test Engineer II (2nd Shift)
The engineer joins RTX’s manufacturing test organization in Tucson, helping ensure hardware and test systems meet technical and production requirements. Responsibilities include diagnosing product and equipment problems, writing rework guidance, analyzing test trends and yields, and developing improvements that increase capacity and reduce test time. The role also involves maintaining test documentation and software, planning for spares and equipment obsolescence, preparing cost estimates, and supporting risk and root-cause reviews. It suits a hands-on engineer with manufacturing experience, strong technical communication skills, and the ability to manage projects and mentor less-experienced test personnel. Because the position supports defense programs, U.S. citizenship, a qualifying security clearance, and ATF access eligibility are required.
