IT Infrastructure Operations Technician

This technician serves as an initial responder for outages and infrastructure warnings affecting database servers, network equipment, storage, and related services. They use documented procedures to diagnose problems, implement recovery actions, and provide detailed handoffs to specialized second- and third-level support teams. The position also involves incident coordination, procedure development, hardware repair tracking, connectivity troubleshooting in the fabrication facility, and occasional user support or mentoring. The work supports both office and fab operations and may require clean-room access and lifting up to 40 pounds. It is well suited to an adaptable IT operations, NOC, or command-center professional who communicates effectively under pressure and understands multiple infrastructure domains. Candidates must be prepared for onsite work in Phoenix and a 12-hour compressed schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, plus 3+ years of relevant operations experienceExperience troubleshooting at least two infrastructure areas: networking, servers, storage, databases, or KubernetesStrong incident diagnosis, recovery, escalation, and root-cause analysis skillsKnowledge of Linux or Windows systems and core infrastructure hardwareEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesWillingness to work onsite in Phoenix on compressed 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and holidays
