Controls Engineering Manager

This manager directs an onsite Controls Engineering team that supports a 24/7 chemical manufacturing operation. The position oversees PLC, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, industrial networks, server infrastructure, and the plant historian while establishing reliable and compliant automation practices. It also leads controls work for capital projects, manages related budgets, supports maintenance and production troubleshooting, and drives data-based improvements in equipment performance. The role requires collaboration with vendors, operations, facilities, and project teams, along with adherence to change-management and regulatory expectations. It is well suited to an experienced industrial automation leader who can mentor engineers, make sound decisions during high-pressure situations, and remain available for on-call and occasional after-hours support.
