Senior Mechanical Engineer, Design

This engineer will develop and refine mechanical solutions for missiles, launchers, support equipment, and related aerospace systems throughout the product lifecycle. Working onsite with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams, the engineer will perform design analyses, lead trade studies and reviews, support prototypes and testing, and help ensure hardware meets performance and aerospace requirements. The position may involve acting as a Responsible Engineering Authority, coordinating suppliers, and managing technical work within schedule and budget constraints. It also includes mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with structures, thermal, systems, electronics packaging, manufacturing, quality, and operations specialists. The role suits an experienced aerospace or defense mechanical engineer who is comfortable making independent decisions, leading small teams, and working with tightly controlled hardware development processes.
