Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Defect Metrology Technician

This technician works within the Yield and Defect Metrology function supporting semiconductor production in Intel’s Ocotillo fabs. Responsibilities include measuring and classifying defects, analyzing related data, maintaining equipment, resolving tool problems, and documenting findings for engineering and production teams. The role also supports lot dispositions, experiments, process audits, technician training, and continuous improvement activities. It suits candidates with hands-on technical, equipment maintenance, military, trade, or STEM experience who can solve problems analytically and communicate effectively. The position is on site and follows a compressed 12-hour workweek schedule, with shift assignments based on operational needs.
