RF Systems Engineer

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking an experienced RF engineer to provide technical leadership for a nationally deployed, mission-critical communications program. The position focuses on diagnosing and improving VHF/UHF radio systems, antennas, direction-finding equipment, interference issues, and overall system reliability. The engineer will guide requirements and performance analysis, develop and execute verification tests, investigate failures, and recommend corrective actions or lifecycle strategies. This person will also support field representatives remotely, communicate findings to customers and program leadership, and collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, and field engineering teams. It is well suited to a technically strong RF professional who enjoys mentoring others, solving complex operational problems, and working with measurement equipment and analysis tools. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security investigation are required, along with the ability to travel as needed.
