Electrical Engineer II, Video

This engineer will create and refine circuits for complex, portable, battery-powered video products, including processors, memory, sensors, power systems, audio, and wired or wireless interfaces. They will turn system needs into schematics and manufacturable board designs, partnering with PCB engineers on dense multilayer implementations. The position involves hands-on characterization, troubleshooting, simulation, and root-cause analysis throughout prototype, validation, manufacturing, and production stages. The engineer will also maintain documentation, bills of materials, test plans, and regulatory support materials. It suits an independent electrical engineer with several years of embedded hardware experience who enjoys lab work, practical problem solving, and cross-functional product development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline4+ years designing embedded electronics for high-speed, portable, battery-powered productsHands-on proficiency in mixed-signal hardware design, board bring-up, and troubleshooting with lab equipmentExperience with schematic design tools (OrCAD/Cadence preferred) and component selection for complex boardsStrong understanding of power system design, PCB layout considerations, and signal integrityAbility to support products from prototype through manufacturing with cross-functional collaboration
