Quality Management System Auditor

RTX is seeking an experienced aerospace quality professional to plan and execute QMS audits supporting its Tucson facilities and other Raytheon locations. The position acts as a lead auditor, managing audit teams, stakeholder meetings, reports, findings, and corrective-action approval. It also partners with the enterprise audit function and certification body to coordinate schedules, logistics, site preparation, and closure of audit issues. Success requires strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001, sound root-cause and corrective-action practices, and the independence to operate with limited supervision. This opportunity suits a seasoned aerospace auditor who can communicate effectively, lead teams, travel up to 25%, and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years without a degreeAt least 6 years of QMS auditing experience in the aerospace industryHands-on experience auditing against AS9100 standardsASQ Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent certificationU.S. citizenship and ability to maintain an active DoD Secret clearanceStrong independent work, communication, and team leadership skills
