AMHS Principal Engineer

This role oversees AMHS construction and deployment activities, including equipment hookups, control software integration, supplier performance, and ongoing system support. The engineer develops project plans, tracks schedules and costs, resolves risks, and manages several initiatives while coordinating a small technical team and external vendors. The position works closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable system integration and continuous workflow improvement. It also requires reviewing technical documentation, enforcing safety and regulatory expectations, and sharing effective practices across manufacturing sites. This opportunity suits an experienced automation, robotics, or semiconductor equipment professional who combines strong mechanical and systems knowledge with organized project leadership and clear communication.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction, building science, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of AMHS, industrial automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing equipment experienceExperience leading large-scale AMHS deployment, construction, or optimization projectsStrong project management, system design, vendor coordination, and mechanical aptitudeProficiency with Excel, MS Project, SQL, Power BI, and PowerPointAbility to work in cleanrooms, industrial environments, at heights, and across construction areas
