Systems Engineer I - Software, Robotics Semiconductor Automation

This engineer will create and maintain applications, HMIs, diagnostic utilities, and automation tools used with semiconductor equipment, robots, cameras, sensors, and measurement systems. The work spans frontend and backend development, equipment connectivity, responsive user workflows, databases, reporting, and selected AI or machine-learning integrations. The position also includes preparing deployment tools, documentation, validation materials, and tests for laboratory, manufacturing, and customer-facing settings. It sits within a cross-functional engineering environment and involves collaboration with manufacturing, field service, and other technical partners. It would suit a curious, detail-oriented engineer with a relevant technical degree, solid Python skills, and an interest in connecting software to real-world industrial systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science fieldProficiency in Python for software development, automation, debugging, or equipment integrationExperience building user interfaces, dashboards, HMIs, or local applicationsFamiliarity with APIs, databases, structured data, logging, testing, and error handlingBasic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, subnets, and portsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
