Principal Electrical Engineer

This position is part of a multidisciplinary engineering and design team responsible for developing electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, controls, and grounding. The engineer performs calculations, selects equipment, creates design documents, and provides technical guidance throughout conceptual, preliminary, and final design stages. They also plan discipline work, allocate staff and labor resources, monitor budgets and schedules, and coordinate deliverables with other teams and offices. During construction, the role supports field execution and helps resolve technical issues for the project. It suits an experienced electrical consulting professional who can lead teams, communicate effectively with clients and internal partners, uphold quality standards, and mentor developing engineers.
