Senior Information Assurance Engineer

The engineer serves as a senior cybersecurity authority throughout the system life cycle, partnering with development, integration, test, deployment, and operations teams. Responsibilities include shaping security architectures, translating mission needs into requirements, maintaining security documentation and traceability, and supporting testing and accreditation. The role also leads RMF activities such as control selection, assessment preparation, POA&M tracking, and authorization package development while applying DoD baselines including DISA STIGs and NCDSMO guidance. Success requires strong technical judgment, communication, and collaboration in an Agile or hybrid engineering environment. It is well suited to an experienced security systems engineer with defense-sector experience, an active clearance, and interest in mission-critical or space-related programs.
