Senior Technical Staff Engineer-Test

This engineer will join Microchip’s Timing and Communication Product Group and lead test development for SyncE/1588 timing devices, clock distribution products, and frequency synthesizers. The work includes creating ATE programs, designing low-noise high-speed test boards, assessing manufacturability, and establishing production limits from characterization data. The position partners with design, applications, marketing, reliability, manufacturing, subcontractor, and customer teams throughout product release and production ramp activities. It also addresses returned-device analysis, cost reduction, capacity improvements, and yield optimization across geographically distributed operations. The role suits an experienced semiconductor test leader with deep IC validation and manufacturing knowledge, strong technical communication skills, and hands-on expertise with ATE systems, laboratory equipment, programming, and statistical analysis.
