Hookup Construction Engineer II

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

This position oversees the planning, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, high-purity, and process utility connections for semiconductor tools and facilities. It belongs to TSMC’s global Hook-Up Shared Services function and works closely with Facilities, Tool Install, Quality, ESH, contractors, and international project teams. The engineer manages staffing, assignments, performance, safety, quality, resources, walk-downs, punch-list completion, and project handover activities. The position suits an experienced construction or semiconductor professional who can interpret technical drawings, lead diverse teams, and solve problems in fast-paced cleanroom or industrial environments. Candidates must work onsite in Phoenix and be prepared for compressed schedules, rotating night shifts, weekend on-call duties, and occasional international support.
