Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) Test Equipment Chief Engineer

This onsite Tucson position leads the technical direction of ESSM test equipment activities supporting production, suppliers, sustainment, and international manufacturing expansion. The chief engineer chairs technical review and failure boards, manages configuration and risk decisions, and guides teams toward practical solutions that satisfy customer needs while protecting business performance. The role works across factories in Arizona, Arkansas, Massachusetts, and Japan and involves regular collaboration with customer representatives, industrial partners, and suppliers. It suits an experienced engineering leader with strong test-system or multidisciplinary hardware and software expertise, production experience, and the ability to manage complex technical organizations and budgets. An active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a STEM degree with substantial relevant experience, and willingness to travel 10–20% are required.
