Operations Research Engineer

This position sits within Intel’s Factory Automation organization and supports manufacturing roadmap development through modeling, simulation, and data-driven analysis. The engineer will design software solutions, develop prototypes, and assess new methods for addressing technology and customer needs. Success requires understanding manufacturing systems, stochastic behavior, numerical modeling tradeoffs, and statistical interpretation of results. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams and external industry partners, along with communicating findings to varied audiences.
