Hardware Platform Applications Engineer - Military & Aerospace

This engineer will join Intel’s Government Technologies Customer Engineering team and serve as a technical interface for defense and aerospace customers. Responsibilities include supporting on-site system power-on, developing proof-of-concept platforms, investigating hardware issues, reviewing schematics and layouts, and creating customer-facing technical materials. The position also involves laboratory debugging, Linux-based software flashing and diagnostics, and coordination with platform, chipset, software, and quality teams. It suits an electrical or computer engineer with hands-on board design and bring-up experience who can communicate effectively with customers and work across functions. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government clearance are required, while defense-industry experience and an active Secret clearance are advantageous.

US Citizenship and ability to obtain US Government Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of end-to-end platform hardware design experience including schematic capture and power-on debugStrong lab debugging skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzersExperience with customer engagement and technical communication in military/aerospace contextsKnowledge of Intel power delivery architecture and SoC bring-up challenges
