Test Systems Principal Execution Lead

This position provides senior technical and execution leadership within RTX’s Test Solutions organization, supporting test systems across their full development lifecycle. The lead coordinates electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers while maintaining task alignment, integration readiness, issue escalation, and delivery against the integrated schedule. They work closely with program managers, control account managers, and suppliers on staffing, baseline control, earned value inputs, risks, estimates, and schedule or cost performance. The role also involves diagnosing complex test-system problems, approving technical changes, participating in review and change boards, and improving integration processes. It suits an experienced test-system or engineering execution professional who can lead large work packages independently, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and mentor other engineers. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance are required for this onsite Tucson role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experienceExperience leading test-system hardware/software development, integration, and verificationExperience with project cost and schedule managementAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredKnowledge of EVMS, integrated master scheduling, risk management, and test-system lifecycle practicesStrong cross-functional leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and mentoring skills
