Principal Real-time Software Engineer

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Effectors Center and work within cross-functional Integrated Product Teams building mission-critical avionics and weapons-related systems. Responsibilities span software architecture, embedded C++ implementation, RTOS-based development, hardware and FPGA integration, testing, debugging, and deployment. The position also contributes to design reviews and proposals, helps improve product quality and testability, and provides technical guidance to less experienced staff. It suits an experienced embedded software professional who is comfortable with time-sensitive, safety- and reliability-focused systems and close collaboration across engineering disciplines. Candidates must be eligible for U.S. government program access and hold an active Secret clearance before starting.
