Specialist, Incident Readiness

This position sits within Waymo’s Safety organization and reports to the Head of Enterprise Resilience. It owns the full exercise lifecycle, including planning, technical drill execution, stakeholder coordination, performance evaluation, after-action reporting, and mitigation tracking. The specialist will align the program with HSEEP and Waymo’s Safety Management System while building scalable processes and managing an extended team of exercise designers. The role also involves cultivating relationships with emergency management agencies and other external operational partners. It is well suited to an experienced resilience, emergency management, business continuity, or crisis exercise leader who has worked in safety-critical or highly regulated environments and is comfortable with complex operational technology.
