Director, Process Engineer – Dry Etch
This leadership position directs dry etch process engineering efforts across Intel's foundry operations, overseeing the development, optimization, and sustaining of critical etch processes including plasma etch, RIE, ALE, and post-etch treatments. The role operates at the intersection of technology development and high-volume manufacturing, responsible for driving process capability improvements, defect reduction, yield enhancement, and cost optimization across advanced CMOS technologies. The engineer will lead cross-functional teams including integration, lithography, metrology, and equipment suppliers to deliver robust solutions that meet foundry customer requirements. This position suits experienced process engineers with deep expertise in plasma chemistry, etch equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing who can execute experiments, solve complex technical problems, and lead rapid decision-making in a fast-paced fab environment.
