This engineer will contribute to defense, commercial, and civil space programs from initial design through production, environmental testing, and operational readiness. Working within the RF Communications team, they will translate system requirements into component specifications, review interface documentation, assess supplier implementations, and communicate results to engineering stakeholders. The position includes hands-on support during spacecraft integration and test activities, including occasional extended or off-hours shifts. With experience and mentoring, the engineer may become the responsible RF communications engineer for assigned work. It suits an early-career RF specialist who is comfortable in collaborative, fast-moving teams and is interested in spaceflight hardware, laboratory measurement, and customer-facing technical communication.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years RF/microwave engineering experience, or Master's degreeAbility to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Top-Secret/SCI security clearanceLaboratory experience with RF measurement equipment (network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers)Strong collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced team environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of RF link budget, space-to-ground links, or RF component testing preferred
