Mechanical Thermal Engineer II (Onsite)

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Mechanical Analysis and Test organization, which supports structural and thermal design quality from early concepts through production and field support. Responsibilities include developing thermal models, assessing electronics cooling and other thermal challenges, preparing validation tests, analyzing results, and correlating models with measured data. The position also involves peer reviews, customer presentations, detailed reporting, and delivering work within program cost and schedule expectations. It suits a mechanical or aerospace engineer with graduate-level STEM education and practical experience using thermal analysis tools and engineering fundamentals. Because the work supports defense programs, U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required.
