Principal Mechanical Engineer - Test Equipment, Onsite (Tucson, AZ)

This engineer will work within Raytheon’s multidisciplinary Test Equipment Engineering organization, developing test solutions for environments such as vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical testing. Responsibilities include mechanical design, CAD modeling, drawing creation, tolerance analysis, system validation, and troubleshooting or improving installed production equipment. The position supports test activities across the product lifecycle, from early engineering evaluations through production and sustainment. It suits an experienced mechanical engineer who can work hands-on with complex assemblies, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and guide less experienced team members. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required, and the job is performed entirely onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
