Outgoing Quality Assurance Engineer

This engineer will help establish and operate outgoing wafer inspection capabilities, including configuring and maintaining inspection, sorting, and packing tool recipes. Working within TSMC Arizona’s Quality & Reliability function, the position focuses on identifying wafer defects, assessing risks, and driving corrective actions that improve yield and reduce defects. The role also supports big-data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine-learning initiatives to increase inspection efficiency and automation. Success requires effective project coordination, communication across engineering teams, and a practical approach to solving manufacturing problems. It suits an engineering or science graduate with an interest in semiconductor quality, continuous improvement, and working onsite in a cleanroom environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)Proficiency in project management methodologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in semiconductor quality engineering, yield improvement, or defect reductionFamiliarity with AI/Machine Learning techniques and applicationsAbility to work on-site in cleanroom/advanced manufacturing environments
