This role manages all contract activities supporting the Launch Systems business, from proposal preparation and pricing through negotiation, administration, fulfillment, and customer engagement. The position advises senior leaders on contractual obligations, changes, financial considerations, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with company, legal, and government requirements. It directly supervises contract managers and professionals, builds organizational capability, and develops a strong talent pipeline. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical, program, finance, legal, and other stakeholders and communicate effectively with executives and customers. This opportunity suits an experienced defense-contracts leader with strong negotiation skills, sound judgment, and a record of managing complex U.S. Government or commercial agreements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or master’s degree with 6 years, including people managementAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI accessExperience negotiating and administering varied government and commercial contractsKnowledge of FAR, DFARS, and OTA contracts and proposalsExperience with proposal development, pricing, risk assessment, and customer liaison dutiesLeadership experience developing employees and delegating work
