Senior Design Verification Engineer - Neuromorphic Computing

This engineer will join Intel’s neuromorphic silicon team and build verification strategies that connect application requirements with unit-level and chip-level hardware validation. Responsibilities include developing Python directed and randomized tests, operating regressions, analyzing failures, monitoring coverage, and maintaining assertions, scoreboards, and verification flows. The role involves close collaboration with architects, designers, software engineers, IP teams, and VIP providers to verify functionality and interface compliance. It suits an experienced verification professional with strong UVM and constrained-random expertise, broad knowledge of the verification lifecycle, and interest in AI accelerators, neuromorphic systems, emulation, and emerging automation methods.

Requirements

Bachelor’s with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years of silicon engineering experience3+ years in pre-silicon verification or post-silicon validation for SoCs, accelerators, or custom ASICs3+ years using UVM and constrained-random verificationExperience owning verification from planning and test development through coverage, emulation, and validationAt least 1 year using AI tools for test generation, debugging, or productivity improvementPreferred: neuromorphic or AI/ML accelerator experience and knowledge of interface VIP, DFX, low-power, or UPF verification
