Senior FPGA & Firmware Engineer - SDR

This engineer will develop high-performance OFDM modem functionality on Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC platforms, translating wireless communication concepts from MATLAB and Simulink models into optimized FPGA designs. The work includes fixed-point analysis, VHDL or Verilog implementation, Vivado integration, AXI and DMA interfaces, clock-domain crossing, verification, and hardware debugging. The engineer will also help integrate the modem with RF transceivers and ARM processors while addressing system-level power, thermal, timing, and signal-quality considerations. As a senior contributor, this person will influence design practices, document technical results, mentor less experienced engineers, and coordinate with geographically distributed teams. The position suits an experienced FPGA and DSP specialist who enjoys hands-on lab work, complex communications systems, and technical leadership in a mission-focused product environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering6+ years of FPGA/RTL design experience through hardware bring-upStrong VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog skillsExpertise with AMD/Xilinx Vivado, XDC constraints, and timing closureExperience with MATLAB/Simulink, DSP, digital communications, and fixed-point designKnowledge of AXI interfaces, DMA, CDC, RTL verification, and FPGA lab debugging
