Hookup Tool Design BIM Technician - Fixed Term

TSMCPhoenix, AZFixed Term

This technician will use Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and related tools to model tool locations, allocate space, assign facility connections, and perform clash detection. The position works with facility engineering, construction, IT, AMHS, and other stakeholders to support construction readiness and maintain accurate project documentation. It may also contribute to projects across TSMC’s international fab network and requires onsite work in cleanroom and construction environments, with possible international travel. The role suits someone with BIM or CAD experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and an interest in semiconductor manufacturing and advanced facility design. Candidates should be comfortable learning new workflows, working in English, and meeting the physical and onsite demands of the position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with hands-on experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, or construction environmentsProficiency with BIM tools including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; certifications preferredStrong English communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationProactive problem-solving mindset with eagerness to learn advanced technical skillsAbility to work on-site at Phoenix facility with willingness to travel internationallyPhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours in cleanroom conditions
