Facilities Gas Chemical Technician

This onsite Facilities position supports the continuous delivery and control of gases, chemicals, and slurry used by semiconductor production tools. Technicians perform equipment rounds, record operating data, adjust process controls and recipes, conduct laboratory analyses, and complete preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. The work also involves inspecting for leaks and hazards, maintaining documentation, and ensuring systems meet operational, environmental, and safety requirements. Team members collaborate with technicians, engineers, supervisors, and managers, and may participate in the Emergency Response Team when assigned. It suits candidates with industrial process equipment experience who are comfortable with hands-on work, analytical troubleshooting, safety procedures, physical demands, and variable or emergency schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required5+ years experience with process piping systems in industrial settings preferredFundamental understanding of chemical and gas semiconductor distribution systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsMedical qualification to wear personal respiratorPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work at elevation
