Memory Circuit Design Engineer

This role focuses on developing cutting-edge memory circuit designs and technology collateral that enable Intel's internal and external customers to bring high-performance, low-power memory products to market faster. You will work within the Advanced Design team, part of the Design Technology Platform Organization, collaborating with domain experts, EDA vendors, and product design teams to drive innovations in memory technology. Your responsibilities span from memory pathfinding and PPA optimization through design-technology co-optimization, to bit-cell layout, array design, and post-silicon validation. This position suits engineers with a strong background in custom memory circuit design who are excited about pushing the boundaries of semiconductor memory technology and want to directly impact Intel's competitive advantage.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of professional experience, or PhD in related fieldDesign, characterization, and verification of custom memory circuits such as SRAM, Register Files, or ROMUnderstanding of power, performance, and area (PPA) trade-offs in circuit designCustom digital circuit design, simulation, layout design, and verification experienceKnowledge of EDA tools for custom digital and memory circuit designFamiliarity with CMOS ASIC design flow and post-Si validation preferred
