Memory Circuit Design Engineer

This engineer will work within Intel’s Advanced Design organization to create memory technology collateral and IP that supports high-performance, high-density, and low-power products. Responsibilities span memory pathfinding, SRAM or other memory circuit design, bit-cell and peripheral layout, automation, test-chip development, and optimization of power, performance, and area. The role also includes pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation to monitor yield and device parameters and resolve design issues. The engineer will collaborate with process-technology experts, EDA suppliers, and product teams across Intel Foundry. It is well suited to an experienced memory or custom-circuit designer with advanced engineering education and hands-on knowledge of simulation, layout, verification, and CMOS design flows.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of professional experience, or PhD in related fieldDesign, characterization, and verification of custom memory circuits such as SRAM, Register Files, or ROMUnderstanding of power, performance, and area (PPA) trade-offs in circuit designCustom digital circuit design, simulation, layout design, and verification experienceKnowledge of EDA tools for custom digital and memory circuit designFamiliarity with CMOS ASIC design flow and post-Si validation preferred
