This position serves as a sector-level authority for missile systems, guiding technical decisions from early concept development through production, deployment, and sustainment. The fellow will establish long-term strategies covering areas such as propulsion, guidance, navigation, survivability, lethality, and mission assurance. They will influence multiple programs, support proposals and captures, and communicate technical recommendations to senior leaders and U.S. Government stakeholders. The role also involves mentoring engineering leaders, developing high-performing teams, and advancing practices such as MBSE, digital engineering, Agile, and rigorous requirements verification. It is suited to an accomplished missile or weapon systems expert with extensive lifecycle experience, strong systems engineering judgment, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 20+ years of experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceCurrent, in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI accessExtensive experience across the missile system lifecycle from concept through field supportExpertise in systems engineering, architectures, requirements, verification, and validationExperience with MBSE, Agile methods, and tools such as DOORS or CameoAbility to travel up to 25%
