Senior Reliability PDK and TFM engineer

This engineer will help Intel Foundry build reliability-focused design enablement for leading-edge technologies, including process design kits, verification methodologies, design rules, and foundational IP support. The position partners with internal engineering groups and EDA suppliers to create reliable, competitive tools and flows that enable design signoff and power, performance, area, and reliability optimization. Responsibilities include defining reliability collateral, validating and benchmarking solutions, assessing design risks, and improving quality through automation and structured program execution. Relevant technical areas include aging, electromigration, high-voltage design, electrical overstress, and electrostatic discharge. The role suits an experienced semiconductor or EDA professional with strong PDK, reliability, scripting, stakeholder-management, and communication skills who can operate effectively across diverse teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ yearsAt least 3 years in PDK development, reliability flows, design-for-reliability, or related design validationHands-on knowledge of PDK fundamentals, reliability rules, TFM, and EDA flow developmentExperience with reliability mechanisms such as BTI, HCI, electromigration, high-voltage design, EOS, or ESDAbility to use programming or AI skills to automate rule, techfile, and quality-assurance tasksStrong communication, collaboration, program-management, and stakeholder-management abilities
