Senior Technical Staff Engineer - Architect (SoC)

This architect will define next-generation wireless SoC platforms, including processing, memory, power, security, testing, and peripheral capabilities. The position sits within the Wireless Solutions Group and partners with marketing, firmware, applications, design, verification, product, customers, and IP suppliers to turn market needs into implementable product specifications. It also guides innovation, evaluates architectural alternatives, and communicates product direction and cost considerations to executives and customers. The work includes addressing ISO 26262 functional safety, ISO 21434 cybersecurity, validation, and efficient development methods using automation and AI techniques. It suits an experienced wireless semiconductor architect who can lead geographically distributed teams, communicate clearly, and navigate the full microcontroller and SoC lifecycle.
