Equipment Technician, Plasma Processes

This technician supports the Manufacturing Operations team by maintaining PECVD, ICP, RIE, IBE, and related wafer-fabrication systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, vacuum, RF, gas-delivery, robotics, and wafer-handling problems, as well as completing startups, qualifications, and equipment recoveries. The position works closely with equipment and process engineers on experiments, upgrades, documentation, and improvement initiatives while tracking maintenance activity and spare parts. It is suited to a hands-on technical professional with semiconductor, photonics, or precision-manufacturing experience who is comfortable working in a cleanroom and handling safety-sensitive systems. Strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, teamwork, and familiarity with industrial diagnostic equipment are important for success.
