Facilities Gas and Chemical Engineer
This engineer supports the facilities organization by ensuring gas, chemical, and slurry systems remain safe, reliable, compliant, and capable of meeting production demand. Responsibilities include system analysis, maintenance planning, capacity management, risk assessment, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with manufacturing, maintenance teams, suppliers, and contractors. The position manages projects ranging from individual valve manifold boxes to large factory-wide distribution networks, including design reviews, construction oversight, budgeting, scheduling, commissioning, and startup. It suits a chemical engineer who understands high-purity and hazardous fluid systems and can combine technical judgment with project leadership and clear communication. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Phoenix, adapting to rotating or compressed shifts, and potentially participating in emergency response activities.
