Principal Engineer, Data, BIA AI

This position owns ASM’s enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, reference models, and governance practices across business and technology domains. The architect will design reusable data products, integration patterns, lakehouse and streaming solutions, and trusted foundations for analytics, machine learning, generative AI, automation, and process intelligence. Working with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, services, security, legal, and transformation teams, the role turns operational needs into practical architectures that are secure, scalable, cost-conscious, and measurable. It also serves as a subject matter expert who evaluates emerging technologies, promotes data literacy, mentors technical teams, and improves architecture maturity. The role suits an experienced data architecture leader who combines strong technical depth with business understanding, communication skills, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
