Specialist I, Purchasing

This position supports ASM’s manufacturing operations by coordinating the purchase and delivery of direct materials. The specialist will manage orders, monitor supplier performance, expedite critical shipments, and reduce risks that could interrupt production. The role works closely with planning, manufacturing, project management, and other internal teams, including during product transfers and production ramp-ups. It also includes improving inventory flexibility through safety stock and vendor-managed inventory programs, as well as refining purchasing processes. The position would suit an experienced procurement or supply chain professional who is comfortable in a manufacturing environment, uses ERP systems effectively, and can balance analysis, negotiation, and multiple priorities.
