Specialist, Talent Acquisition

ASMPhoenix, AZFull-time

As a Specialist in Talent Acquisition at ASM, you'll shift away from traditional recruiting operations to become a strategic headhunter targeting elite technical professionals in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. Your primary responsibilities include conducting proactive outreach to passive candidates, mapping competitive talent ecosystems across industry and academia, identifying emerging PhD and research talent through publications and technical communities, and maintaining high-touch engagement with prospects over extended periods. This role sits within ASM's broader talent function but operates independently to feed qualified pipelines to hiring managers before formal requisitions exist. The position suits intellectually curious professionals with strong communication skills who thrive in ambiguous, self-directed environments and have genuine interest in deep technology domains. Success is measured by pipeline quality and hire conversion rates from your sourcing, not administrative volume. This is positioned as a career launchpad into executive search, talent intelligence, or strategic recruiting within a fast-growing semiconductor innovation company.
