Test Technician II, 3rd Shift (Onsite)
This technician performs development, qualification, and production testing on aircraft components and related systems at Collins Aerospace in Phoenix. The work includes configuring test stands, taking electrical measurements, diagnosing failures to the component level, calibrating equipment, and modifying fixtures or prototype hardware. The technician also documents test data, tracks materials and workflow in company systems, and collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to address nonconformances. The regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., following temporary training on an earlier shift. It suits a hands-on electronics professional who can read schematics, use laboratory test instruments, work carefully around industrial equipment, and meet the physical demands of an onsite production environment.
