Gas Monitoring System Technician

This technician installs, tests, calibrates, maintains, and repairs detectors, alarms, control systems, and related monitoring equipment used for toxic gases. Working with the Emergency Response Team and partners across manufacturing, engineering, and vendors, the technician helps investigate alarms and resolve equipment or process problems. Daily responsibilities include operational rounds, system readings, safety inspections, documentation, audits, and participation in improvement efforts. The position is part of the facilities and safety support function for an advanced semiconductor manufacturing site in Phoenix and requires onsite work in cleanroom conditions. It suits a mechanically and electrically capable professional with substantial gas monitoring experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to respond effectively in a collaborative environment.

High school diploma or equivalent4–5 years of experience with gas monitoring systems4–5 years installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GMS equipmentAt least 4 years’ experience with safety procedures and regulatory complianceMechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityWillingness to work onsite in Phoenix and in cleanroom/PPE conditions
