This engineer works within Collins Aerospace’s Advanced Structures manufacturing organization to develop and maintain routings, bills of material, work instructions, tooling documentation, and other production processes. They lead improvement initiatives using metrics, failure analysis, risk assessments, and yield data, while managing engineering changes and cost estimates for new capabilities or equipment updates. The position includes hands-on troubleshooting of products, test systems, fixtures, and hardware, along with CAD review and electrical or mechanical test support. It suits an experienced manufacturing engineer who can combine technical analysis with practical shop-floor problem solving and cross-functional project leadership. Strong candidates will bring clear communication, technical writing, and familiarity with systems such as SAP and Teamcenter.
