HWIL Software Engineer II
This engineer works in RTX’s Effectors Center within the Hardware-in-the-Loop organization, creating and supporting simulator environments used before missile flight testing. Responsibilities include analyzing user and system needs, designing software and build processes, integrating code with hardware, and maintaining quality and configuration standards in real-time systems. The position may also involve control modeling, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and helping other developers follow software practices and tools. It suits a software engineer with at least two years of relevant experience, strong C++ and embedded-systems knowledge, and an interest in working across hardware, networking, electronics, and test disciplines. The role is fully onsite in Tucson and requires an active Secret U.S. government clearance before starting.
