Applications Engineer

This engineer will work on 48V/54V and 400V/800V power-delivery architectures, with a focus on eFuse, Hot-Swap, and power-switch technologies for high-density computing platforms. Responsibilities include creating reference designs and evaluation systems, analyzing power trees, building validation infrastructure, and improving system protection and distribution performance. The engineer will support customer design reviews, product bring-up, debugging, and benchmarking while acting as a technical connection between customer needs and onsemi products. Collaboration will span data-center architects, internal development teams, systems engineers, and marketing groups to influence future products and solutions. The position suits an early-career electrical engineer with power-electronics knowledge, modeling experience, and strong communication skills who is interested in customer-facing work on advanced infrastructure.
