CNC Machinist II

This position supports manufacturing operations by independently preparing and operating CNC milling or turning equipment. The machinist monitors machine performance, loads programs through DNC systems, manages tool life, and makes adjustments to maintain accurate production. Parts are inspected using precision gauges and visual checks, with results and setup information recorded according to company procedures. The role requires careful interpretation of drawings, G and M codes, GD&T, and inspection requirements while following safety and 6S practices. It is suited to an experienced CNC professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to perform physically demanding shop-floor duties.

Requirements

At least 5 years of CNC manufacturing experience, or qualifying training and associate degree combinationAbility to independently set up and operate CNC mills or lathesProficiency interpreting G and M codes, part drawings, and GD&TSkill in changing tools, adjusting offsets, and managing tool lifeExperience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesBasic computer skills and strong attention to detail
