Open role
Principal Electrical Engineer 3 – Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
This engineer will join Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems EGSE organization, supporting the integration, testing, and launch of aerospace vehicles. The position combines electrical design and analysis with hands-on testing, equipment integration, documentation, troubleshooting, and failure investigation. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to requirements and design reviews, support procurement and manufacturing, and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff. Experience with automated test systems, avionics testing, LabVIEW or TestStand, telemetry, hardware-in-the-loop labs, and secure computing environments would be useful. It suits an experienced electrical engineer who can work independently, communicate effectively, prioritize safety, and meet U.S. defense program requirements.
