Staff Product Quality Engineer

This position sits within onsemi’s Corporate Product Quality organization and serves as a technical authority for the quality of assigned power semiconductor products. The engineer will use manufacturing, test, reliability, and failure-analysis data to identify root causes, improve defect detection, strengthen screening strategies, and support yield enhancements. They will lead containment and structured 8D investigations for customer issues while coordinating corrective actions across global, cross-functional teams. The role also involves communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders and sharing lessons learned to promote broader quality improvements. It is well suited to an experienced semiconductor quality or engineering professional who combines hands-on problem solving with strong communication, influence, and collaboration skills.
