CNC Machinist III

This position supports manufacturing production by preparing and running CNC mill or lathe equipment and completing accurate machine changeovers. The machinist monitors operations, troubleshoots machining issues, adjusts offsets and controls, and manages cutting tools throughout production. They inspect finished parts against drawings and setup documentation using calibrated precision instruments while recording required results and tool changes. The role suits an experienced CNC professional who can work independently, interpret G and M codes and GD&T, and maintain strong attention to detail. The work is performed in a noisy industrial environment with machine, chemical, and other manufacturing hazards requiring appropriate PPE and physical mobility.

At least 5 years of CNC manufacturing experience, or an approved combination of experience, machining certificates, and an associate degreeIndependent CNC mill or lathe setup and operation skillsAbility to interpret G and M codes, part drawings, and GD&TProficiency with precision measuring and inspection toolsAbility to change cutting tools and adjust offsets accuratelyBasic computer skills and strong organization, communication, and safety awareness
