ECHO EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

This engineer joins NXP’s semiconductor manufacturing function to maintain, optimize, and expand the capability of wafer-fab equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment and process data, reducing defects and downtime, qualifying parts and tools, improving monitoring systems, and creating corrective action plans. The position involves close collaboration with technicians, engineers, and other disciplines in a continuous, around-the-clock production environment. It also includes leading improvement initiatives, documenting specifications, applying statistical control methods, and training or presenting to others. This opportunity suits a technically trained, safety-conscious problem solver with semiconductor equipment experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities.

Requirements

BS or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical fieldAt least 2 years of semiconductor manufacturing equipment support experienceAbility to obtain and maintain Export Control ClearanceStrong data analysis skills with ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and develop solutionsExcellent presentation and communication skills for training and presenting to diverse audiencesSelf-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in 24/7 manufacturing environment
