ECHO EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

This engineer joins NXP’s semiconductor manufacturing function to maintain, optimize, and expand the capability of wafer-fab equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment and process data, reducing defects and downtime, qualifying parts and tools, improving monitoring systems, and creating corrective action plans. The position involves close collaboration with technicians, engineers, and other disciplines in a continuous, around-the-clock production environment. It also includes leading improvement initiatives, documenting specifications, applying statistical control methods, and training or presenting to others.
