Data Center Operations & Automation Specialist

This role leads the physical operations of onsemi’s enterprise or colocation data centers, including rack deployments, hardware lifecycle activities, cabling, power, cooling, space, and capacity planning. The manager will improve operational accuracy and efficiency by automating inventory updates, IMAC workflows, work orders, asset discovery, compliance reporting, and capacity dashboards. The position works closely with Facilities, IT, Security, Procurement, field teams, contractors, vendors, and colocation partners on routine operations and expansion, migration, and consolidation projects. It suits an experienced data center operations leader who understands DCIM and CMDB governance and can apply APIs, scripting, and workflow tools to physical infrastructure processes. The successful candidate will be comfortable driving standardization, audit readiness, measurable process improvement, and cross-functional execution in an onsite environment.
